One-Rep Max Calculator

Estimate your 1RM from a completed set.

UNDERSTAND YOUR RESULT

How it works

A one-repetition maximum is the greatest load lifted for a single repetition in a specific movement. This tool uses an equation to estimate it from a completed set.

THE CALCULATIONEpley estimate: load × (1 + repetitions ÷ 30)

Using this calculator

Use the total external load and a recent set of 1–10 completed repetitions. A single completed repetition returns the entered load; for 2–10 repetitions the Epley equation is used.

What to keep in mind

Accuracy varies by exercise, effort and experience. This result is not a reason to attempt a maximal lift, and the percentage examples are not a training program.

Frequently asked questions

Are my entries saved?

No. Calculator inputs remain in the current page and are cleared when you reload or leave. The tools do not upload your entries.

Why are results rounded?

The display is rounded for readability. Calculations use unrounded intermediate values. An estimate should not be interpreted as an exact measurement.
